What’s your calling?

What is your calling in the Great Commission? God calls all of us to service in one way or another. Jesus commanded his followers in Matthew to make disciples of all nations.. So really, what is your calling? Think about it. I’ll give you a minute….. ….. …..
Did you figure it out? Is it short term mission trips? Is it serving him in your local area? Is God calling you to support missionaries financially? Maybe the Lord is even calling you to a long term trip or to be a career missionary! Whatever your calling is, how are you going to put it into action? In the book of James Jesus’ brother writes, “What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
Jesus said that by their fruit you will recognize them. What fruit are you demonstrating in your life? I don’t say this to condemn you, but to set you free! Never will you feel so fulfilled but when you are doing the will of our Father. If you are interested in missions let us know, our organization takes many trips all the time that you can get in on. Many of the trips are even to Honduras, where Ash and I will be! If you’re interested in becoming a career missionary talk to us about that too, I’m sure we’ll be able to help.
Will you consider pledging 5$ a month to help us in fulfilling God’s calling in our lives? Your pledge would help change the lives of homeless children in Honduras. It will give them a chance at a future instead of life on the streets. Will you help provide these children a chance at a fulfilling life?
We appreciate all the support everyone has given us. Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement. If there’s ever anyway we can give back to you all it would be our great pleasure to do so. We pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families celebrating the birth of our wonderful savior.
