Moving forward!

We did get word that I officially got the job in Bowling Green! We’ll be moving on March 5th and we are both excited and sad. We’re so happy we’ll be around our family and be able to get more involved with churches that will be partnering with us, but at the same time we’ve built a lot of memories and friends in Lexington that we’ll be sad to leave.

My job is so absolutely perfect; it is 100% a God thing! We had been praying and praying for months about something we could do in Bowling Green that wouldn’t require a lot of training, could be part time, would allow for time off, and could be temporary. We had pretty much determined there was NO way we’d find this, but God always provides doesn’t He!? We’ll get a free apartment AND a monthly salary to help a man out of bed and dressed every morning and night. My brother has already offered to take over once we leave and he and others can fill-in in the meantime if we need to go visit places! How perfect is that!? Today, February 19th, is my last day at work. I can now spend my time learning Spanish, doing our missionary courses, and focus on getting to Honduras! I cannot tell you how excited I am about this!!!!!!

Ashley is visiting with someone on Sunday about a possible part time babysitting position, please pray for God’s guidance regarding that.

We are SO excited about March and our visit to Honduras. We know we won’t want to come back. Stay tuned to the blog and our facebook’s as we’ll try to upload lots of pictures and updates!

Thanks for keeping up with us and for your continued prayer and support. God has blessed us beyond measure… It’s hard to believe at times the measure of His love for us. I hope you all are having a great February!
