And then there were 3…

Soooo much has happened since our last update! The biggest thing is definitely that we’re expecting!!! That’s right, an addition to our family is in our future! ☺ We are so excited that God has blessed us with this at this time. We have a wonderful hospital (we’ve read it’s the best or 2nd best in Central America) and a doctor that we just love. Ashley is due May 23rd, so if you could please keep us in your prayers we would greatly appreciate it! We went to the Doctor today and had an ultrasound and they assured us that everything looks great! We got to hear the heartbeat and see our little one squirming all around and showing off its beautiful arms and legs for us to see! It was amazing!
The second big news is that we should be moving into our house VERY VERY soon!! I know we’ve said this before but there is actually a house there, with walls and tile and plumbing! We cannot begin to tell you how badly we’ve been wanting to move out to Talanga. It has been very difficult commuting from Tegucigalpa to Talanga, especially with Ashley having certain pregnancy symptoms (headaches especially!). Once we are out in Talanga we can truly begin working FULL FULL time. We know at times this will be very difficult, but it’s why we believe God has called and sent us here in the first place. We can truly start to be a family with the kids out there and sharing God’s love and plan for their lives! Again, all the prayers you can spare are greatly needed and appreciated.
We’ve been busy mostly planning for the future lately. I (Justin) have been readying the computer lab and both of us have been putting together our lessons plans. Ashley will be teaching Bible and English and I will be teaching computers and Physical Education in the school out in Talanga. On top of this we are also excited to be starting small group discipleship when we get out there.
Please continue to pray for the kids, especially the ones at the transition house who are preparing to be part of the Manuelito family. We appreciate all of your love and support and are so happy to have so many along side of us during this journey.
God bless!
